Account & Data Deletion

Last updated

You can ask us to delete your FLUX account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains the two ways to do that, what gets removed, what we are required by law to keep, and how long it takes.

1. Two ways to request deletion

Inside the app: open FLUX → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm with the email verification code we send you. The request is processed automatically and you are signed out immediately.

By email: send a deletion request from the email address registered on your account to support@fluxfinance.io with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify it is really you (by replying with a verification code) before we act. If the request comes from a different address than the one on file, we cannot action it for security reasons.

2. Before you delete

Your balances, positions and any pending orders must be at zero before the account can be deleted. Withdraw any USDT/USDC stablecoin balance to an external wallet you control, and close any open stock positions. The in-app flow blocks deletion if either is non-zero and shows you what to clear first.

Deletion is final. We do not offer a cooling-off period and we cannot restore a deleted account, the wallet addresses it was paired with, or its trading history.

3. What we delete

Your account profile (email, hashed login password, hashed six-digit transaction password, display preferences).

Your KYC submission (legal name, date of birth, country of residence, government ID number and the ID image you uploaded).

Your watchlist, your invitation code and your in-app notifications.

Your active login sessions and device records.

4. What we are required to keep, and for how long

Financial transaction records — deposits, withdrawals, executed orders and the corresponding ledger entries — are retained for the minimum period required by applicable securities and anti-money-laundering regulations. This is typically five (5) years after the account is closed. These records are kept in a restricted-access archive, are not used to contact you, and are deleted or irreversibly anonymised at the end of the retention window.

Wallet addresses that were generated for you on-chain (TRON, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Solana) cannot be deleted from the public blockchain. After account deletion we delete the link between those addresses and your identity; the addresses themselves remain visible on-chain as part of the public record.

Aggregated, non-identifying analytics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely for product and security purposes.

5. Timeline

In-app deletion: processed immediately once you confirm with the email code. You are signed out and the account is closed within a few seconds.

Email deletion: processed within seven (7) calendar days of us verifying your identity. We will email you to confirm when it is done.

Backups: data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion before those backups are rotated out. During that window the data is not accessed for any operational purpose.

6. After deletion

You can sign up again at any time using the same email — that creates a brand-new FLUX account with no link to the deleted one. You will need to complete KYC again to access funding or trading features.

If anything is unclear or you do not receive a confirmation email within the timelines above, contact support@fluxfinance.io and we will follow up.
